GPS Cop / AVL Writer

Features

  • Job Information can be shown simply by clicking on the job on the map. Instantly see in a window: Address, Job type and  job number, and whether job is, commercial, rental, homeowner, etc., Bill phone, job phone, Time promised, Assigned Tech’s name, Status: assigned, open, Work to be done and other notes. This is the same information that is pulled from scheduling screen that is also sent over the pagers.
To set up a driver, you simply order a gps unit from us and install it in the truck you want to track. We do the rest. The truck will automatically appear on the GPS Cop map.
  •  Put a “geofence” around the driver’s home or other location to make sure that the truck isn’t moved and used for moonlighting. You can even set it so that you will be paged immediately if the vehicle moves.
  •  Accurately time stamp arrival and departure from job site automatically. Cut down data entry time.
  •  Improve Operator Security.
  •  Higher efficiency, means higher income per payload and industry competitive advantage.
  •  Track either the vehicle or the driver.
  •  Improve customer service. The ability to inform their customers when a service or delivery will occur and notify them in the event of a change in schedule.
  •  Increased number of pickups and drops due to location visualization.
  •  Effective problem solving when a delivery or service interruption occurs.
  •  Increased asset and vehicle safety due to location awareness.
  •  Large return on investment. We believe that an increase of 10% in productivity is not unreasonable. You could pay for the entire system 20 times a month.
  •  Integration real-time. Other systems don’t integrate your vehicles or drivers with the job data. If you have to spend a bunch of time trying to figure out where the driver was supposed to be and download the data from another device and then upload it to your computer system, and then try to figure out where the jobs were at and whether the drivers were where they were supposed to be, your additional administration time costs wipe out any potential savings. Besides, after awhile, it simply isn’t worth the effort. Units quit working and you never even know it. With GPS Cop, the dispatcher, or anyone else with the need to know, sees all the drivers in real time overlaid with the jobs. Simple. No need trying to figure out where he was supposed to be by looking up his jobs or trying to look up a schedule and match times. No need to re-enter job information.
  •  Zoom to street level and help a driver find the job. No more time wasted because tech couldn’t find the job site.
  •  Vehicle or driver icons are color coded to indicate the status of the driver. Green indicates they are on the way, etc.
  •  Change the background color of the map for display or printing. Prefer yellow over gray or 10pt font to 8pt font, that is fine, just make the changes and the map will remember your settings for next login. Change to white for printing to save toner and ink.
  •  Show only Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Anytime, Jobs on Hold, or Closed jobs, or any combination.
  •  Left click on the map, enter the address, and instantly see the location of an address. This can be used to see job locations not scheduled in relation to current jobs and drivers.
  •  Zoom to any level, pan the map and automatically display distance between points.
