When the GpsCop system is integrated with
JaRay's
Service Business Management System, the value increases
exponentially.
When a job is scheduled in JaRay, it will appear on
the map with the same “time promised” coloring scheme. For the job
icons, Red with a
plus means urgent, green = morning, purple = afternoon, blue
=evening, cyan = anytime, gray =Hold for authorization, orange with
an X = done. If the job has been paged or sent to a driver, the icon will automatically turn
to green with a red dot. Automatic refreshing allows the user to
continue working without having to wait on the map to update. When
the user makes a change in JaRay the result is shown on the map with
no user interaction. The user will be able to filter or select
specific items on the map. For example, they can show only the
morning jobs.
The vehicle icons can change colors depending on the
status of the vehicle. For example, the icon is blue if the driver
is on the way to a job, green while on a job, yellow if waiting for
a job and red if off-duty. Additional colors or markings on the
vehicle are available to indicate what type of vehicle or what the
vehicle can do. By clicking on an icon, the user can also see
details about the vehicle.
Integration is real-time. Other systems don’t
integrate your vehicles or drivers with the customer and dispatch data. If you have to
spend a bunch of time trying to figure out where the driver was
supposed to be and download the data from another device and then
upload it to your computer system, and then try to figure out where
the jobs were at and whether the drivers were where they were
supposed to be, your additional administration time costs wipe out
any potential savings. Besides, after awhile, it simply isn’t worth
the effort. Units quit working and you never even know it. With GpsCop, the dispatcher, or anyone else with the need to know, sees all
the drivers in real time overlaid with the jobs. Simple. No need
trying to figure out where he was supposed to be by looking up his
jobs on one screen and his route on another and trying to look up a schedule and match times. No need to
re-enter job information. |
